The fashion of PPE

Bright yellow and orange may not be everyone’s favourite fashion choice, but they are the go-to colours for many of our colleagues.

It’s fair to say the use of personal protective equipment has come a long way since NG Bailey was founded a century ago, although it has always been in use in some form.

Hard hats, high visibility clothing, protective footwear, gloves and safety goggles are more recent additions and have benefitted from numerous improvements over the years to make them more comfortable and better fitting to help users stay comfortable whilst wearing them long periods of time. 

Here at NG Bailey safety is always First & Foremost and keeping our colleagues safe at work is our priority. 

Throughout the year we will be looking further into how much health and safety has evolved during the last century.
